I certainly don't make that much, but very happy with BoA for one of my accounts. Great service, enough points on my credit card to travel to Hawaii every year for free with the missus, great customer service. Just last week they called to tell me one of my credit cards had suspicious activity so they FedEx'd a new one over night.
Of course, I pay my bills on time and have a near perfect credit score, which might help.
Maybe a plague of locusts can be blamed on my SUV? Increasing cases of heebee jeebees?
And it's nonsense. Canada, the county with the most functional socialistic-ish government in the Western Hemisphere has a total of five banks, and one of the most transparent and efficient banking systems in the world. The difference is that they're highly regulated. The problem isn't the size of our banks, it's that more legislation like Dodd Frank is needed. Raging at them is pointless. They're just doing what banks do.
Yep, and good luck fixing a problem with your account if you're in Tokyo or London, or need funds transferred overseas at 3am, Seattle time.
I stay with BoA (and HSBC) because small local banks are no good for national or international needs.
Who does that anymore? Oh that's right, BECU members with their "savings" books, like 12 year olds.
Which is funny since the banks paid back the 2008 TARP funds WITH interest, unlike many of Bernie's dead beat supporters, who also don't even know this basic FACT.
Ordinary people go to banks or preferably credit unions because they don’t have a fancy agent working for them. When banks are funding corporate environmental destruction and other crimes then they can expect retaliation from people being harmed.
Many people are working but don’t earn enough to get a place to live in this city. Shelter is a human right not just reserved for people with money.
"....actually step foot in a bank?
Who does that anymore?"
Small business owners (or their employees) who run cash businesses like restaurants and bars.
Have you ever stopped to think before making a post Roger?
Wow, so the protesters are harming small business owners and minimum wage workers.
Bold, smart move.
"Wow, so the protesters are harming small business owners and minimum wage workers."
Inconveniencing bank customers isn't harming anyone.
Seriously, try thinking once in a while.
