The Seattle and greater PNW music scene of the 1990's was great and all. But anyone who lived it cannot deny that Dead Moon was absolutely Foundational. My personal favorite band since the 1980's, so much so that I use their symbol as my avatar to this day. First Andrew and now Fred are gone now, and only Toody remains. I hope she finds comfort amoungst her many kids and grandkids. I am depressed by it all, but am glad they lasted as long as they did, and that I can pull up a seemingly endless supply of live concert recordings.... the only way to ever really capture Dead Moons magic.
