Manweller Won't Resign: "Maybe I have a quirky personality, but I’ve never engaged in sexual misconduct ever,” Manweller told reporters. Yesterday, the Seattle Times published details from a Central Washington University investigation on "credible" testimony that state legislator and tenured professor Rep. Matt Manweller sexually harassed his students. "While there were no official findings of sexual harassment by the school," KNKX reports, "in April 2013 Dean of the College of Sciences Kirk Johnson issued a written reprimand to Manweller." He was ordered to take sexual harassment training. That 2013 report was preceded by a 2012 investigation in which a female student claimed Manweller made sexual advances and kissed her without her consent. Manweller denies this, but the investigator concluded  “'evidence exists to suggest' Manweller violated the school’s sexual harassment policy," He was never disciplined.

A representative for Singer "categorically" denied the allegations to the Seattle Times and said he would "defend this lawsuit to the very end."
