Deadline's Nellie Andreeva broke the news this morning:

Amazon Studios has opted not to pick up any of the three comedy pilots that were part of the current fall 2017 pilot season. That includes Sea Oak, starring Glenn Close; Love You More, from Patti Cake$’ Bridget Everett and Sex and the City's Michael Patrick King; and Diarra Kilpatrick’s The Climb. There is no renewal decision yet on comedy series One Mississippi, and Amazon has yet to weigh in on the future of I Love Dick.

The decision comes as a surprise. Sea Oak and Love You More appeared to be shoo-ins, and The Climb featured Diarra Kilpatrick, an actress recently hailed by Essence magazine as "one to watch." (I'm particularly bummed about Love You More. I wrote a plea for Amazon to pick up the show back in November.)

The news comes during a transitional period for Amazon Studios. All three of the pilots premiered on Amazon Prime Video only a few weeks after Amazon Studios head Roy Price resigned due to sexual harassment allegations that followed the Harvey Weinstein scandal. Actor Rose McGowan claimed she told Price that Weinstein had raped her, and that he and other Amazon Studios executives ignored her accusation. Amazon Studios is still searching for a new head, and may decide to move away from pilots and instead opt for straight-to-series orders.

R.I.P. Sea Oak, The Climb, and especially Love You More. I was very much looking forward to the return of WKRP in Cincinnati actress Loni Anderson, as well as more songs from Bridget Everett about her titties. See below:
