Why isn't immolate himself in front of the White House an option?
2
He should treat himself to some new bling -- like a Soweto necklace.
3
Embalming practice dummy.

It'd actually be an improvement.

Bannon's rise and fall illustrates the timeless axiom that there is a thin line between clever and stupid.
5
How about "Assistant to Grover Norquist, illustrating the preferred size of government" ?

"His hands are no longer on his weapons."
Probably for the best. I wonder who's gonna take over Bartbreit?
Also, this doesn't bode well for the rest of the Twumpian associates... taken down, one by one. Mnuchin? please take him too! And Pruitt. And Tillerson. And DeVos. And Perry...

Also, Bunion'll probably go on to be a writer for TrumpTV when Trump finally gets ousted by the Rs... assuming of course that he (Twump) is not thoroughly discredited in the process, and faces ignominy and divestment throughout his soi-disant "empire".... bankrupting him, complete with public shunnings, and of course, losing his Twitter akkkount. Quelle horreur!

While I'd love for him to ritually disembowel himself in the background of a cheapo cuckold porn video, my guess is he'll try to set himself up as the spiritual founder and leader of the "alt-right" or some other new hard-right nationalist movement. I'm sure he realizes his time at the top is over, so creating some kind of permanent crackpot rightist faction within the conservative movement would be the next logical priority for him. Of course, it really depends on how much his political ideology is real and how much of it is an opportunistic smokescreen. But in national US politics, operatives never really go away, and anyone hoping that he's going to disappear in obscurity are gonna be really disappointed.

@6: Oh Christ, I remember that story about Perry and his Dept of Energy. I heard Michael Lewis being interviewed by Terry Gross on Fresh Air as I was driving home one evening, and I don't think my eyes have ever bugged out in disbelief as much as they did while listening to that interview.

I'm placing my bet now that he pivots to selling inflammatory lefty trash. "Treasonous" was his opening move.

Poor Steve. He never figured out that, to people like the Mercers, he's just the hired help.

Please wait...
