I actually viewed this movie when it was released. It's an excellent history of largely British Punk Rock as I recall. Gosh, it's old. As I am.

Honestly given the shit that Lydon's spewing these days I don't know that giving him a miss could have hurt D.O.A that much...

Snoopy, if Sid had lived, he would have become a hopeless has-been or worse, but his death made him a legend of sorts. He was just a kid with a lousy home life who fell for the first girl who ever paid him any attention.

Lydon has always known it was all a farce and is happy to take financial advantage of anyone who thinks otherwise. I'm perfectly amused by him advertising margarine and selling books for outrageous prices. It's very punk.
