My work doesn't allow me to see Twitter links (just the embedded post itself.) Not sure if seeing what it is Hannity was linking to would actually clarify or not, but does anybody know what this "BIGGEST STORY IN THE POLITICAL WORLD" might be?
@5: Weirdly, he's linking to the Daily Beast Twitter feed, that explains in detail how Assange thought he was offering to communicate through "other channels" regarding "some news about Warner" Assange claimed to have. <48 hours later, "Sen. Warner made headlines claiming the Senate intel committee received 'end-of-the-year document dumps' that 'opened a lot of new questions' about Trump and Russia." At least, I think that's what's happening. I don't Twitter, so I can never be totally sure. I always feel like I have to switch to some other dialect of both English and web surfing, in order to read Twitter.
I know how to solve this. Throw Allen in a lake. If he floats, that means he's guilty and should be burned at the stake. If he drowns, it means he was innocent.
There's no other option. I mean, Abigail Williams and Betty Parris both accused him of witchcraft. Or something. And Joseph McCarthy has names on papers. So, you know, that's proof.
Re: Depression
There's a very interesting recent piece noting that depression is really grief (the symptoms are the same...)
It turns out that all humans have certain basic psychological needs. We need to feel we belong. We need to feel valued. We need to feel we’re good at something. We need to feel we have a secure future. And there is growing evidence that our culture isn’t meeting those psychological needs for many – perhaps most – people.
“This pain you are feeling is not a pathology. It’s not crazy. It is a signal that your natural psychological needs are not being met. It is a form of grief – for yourself, and for the culture you live in going so wrong. I know how much it hurts. I know how deeply it cuts you.
But you need to listen to this signal. We all need to listen to the people around us sending out this signal. It is telling you what is going wrong. It is telling you that you need to be connected in so many deep and stirring ways that you aren’t yet – but you can be, one day.”
If you are depressed and anxious, you are not a machine with malfunctioning parts. You are a human being with unmet needs.
Just realizing that depression is your natural grieving response to your situation can help ease the anxieties & agony. And ease the hopelessness too, because you can perhaps start finding ways to meet one or two of those unmet needs... now that you can look for what's missing.

Not all news are worth reporting.
