The creature held its' horrible eye to the mouth of the cave and Danny let go with a shout that was lost in the cry the thing made, a hungry cry. There was a thud as Danny hit the snow, then a sickening sinking as the earth collapsed beneath him.

Also, did you know 149 people have been killed by police in 2018 alone. That's 3 a day since Jan 1st. At least 44 'white' and 23 'black'.

In the "swatting" case (the first link I posted), the police shot and killed an unarmed man standing in his doorway with his hands up. No weapons on him or even in the house at all. No threatening moves, nothing. The police went there to kill someone, not to question, not to ascertain the situation, they went there to murder. And that's what they did.
