What does State Senator Jamie Pedersen have to say? Anything? Bueller?
2
Someone alert the media if Republinazis ever begin having any "thoughts" other than how to celebrate that more American children have been murdered.
3
You know what the reactions are going to be from Republicans; I’m more pissed that the Democrats in the Legislature can’t seem to get anything passed.

Republicans are horrible people.

Since it is clear that no matter how many children are killed by guns in this country, Republicans will never budge on the issue, I would like to make a modest proposal.

We need to appeal to all of the gun nuts out there, the ones locked in their basements or garages, planning their next rampage. We need to appeal to their sense of ego. They yearn to be remembered as killers.

Alas, school shootings have become so popular that their impact is diminished. Who can even name this guy after only a day or two? Who even remembers the shooting at all? A total failure of self-promotion. Just a waste all around.

No, what is needed is a change of target. Something that will really grab the attention of the powers that be. Something that calls for every last scrap of a real, true, hunter's instincts and skills. Something that is the kind of challenge that only a REAL man can hope to meet. And targets who will TRULY appreciate the artistry and skill of the huntsman and give him a chase that will thrill him far more than these squalid "fish in a barrel" exercises.

So propose the declaration of open season on NRA Board Members. Only the best of the best will be able to work their way through all 76 members of their Board of Directors. Sportsmen, soldiers, cops, celebrities, politicians. It won't be easy. They're almost certainly armed.

But think of the coverage! Think of the glory! That's how a killer can make a real impact. Be a man! Take out the board!

Then, perhaps, conservatives might start learning something of the value of preventing these mass murders of innocents, once it's their own skins they have to save.

Now is not the time to discuss political implications of gun violence.

The (metaphorical) Day Before Yesterday is the time to discuss political implications of gun violence.
7
Very sad day.

Note also, Trump's deliberate immigration reform failure is a much, much more consequential event -- but nobody is giving that intensive coverage tonight.

Dr. Ogudugo is controlling us all !!

...in league with Angela Merkel and Girls Generation in an International Conspiracy.

It's seems hopeless sometimes. That makes just about as much sense as the reality we've backed ourselves into.

Better call it a day.

One wonders why wizards like DR OGUDUGU only seem to use their miraculous powers to help lonely women snag men, yet never seem to do anything to stop national tragedies.

Are wizards just that selfish, sitting haughtily in their black, impenetrable towers?

I’m currently providing health/medical care for one of the reddest counties in rural white Georgia. I was called today to ask if I would be on a three way conference call town hall meeting with this very red US Congressman and prior dentist (now Freedom caucus AKA Tea Party and Trey Gowdy.
They has full control over my voice and comments. A woman constituent actually asked if the gun sales at gun shows would ever be blocked...especially the AR-15s that are sold out of trunks in the parKing lots of these weekly shows. Gowdy actually said that there was NO problem at gun shows as EVERYONE selling guns was a federally licensed gun dealer.

“Mental Health” of the shooter was the problem. So I stepped in and asked if the USA had 40 times the number of mentally ill people as other countries since WE had 40 times the number of mass shooters while countries such as Japan had ZERO gun deaths. Trey Gowdy talked about his 6 years as a “federal prosecutor” and so he KNEW that folks were “obeying the law at these shows!

And shouldn’t we be making mental illness a priority in Georgia....then they cut me off!

These school shootings will continue...Columbine with “only” 12 deaths seems like a different universe now. All we docs can do is attempt to stitch them up and send them back into the snake pit of GOP politics. Our babies will never have a chance to grow up.

@5: You know, I just have to say: If you want people murdered so badly, why don't you just start murdering them?

I honestly see this sentiment on this board a fair amount: "Why won't someone just murder all these people I have chosen to hate?"

Stop demanding other people do your dirty work and go murder someone if you think that is what should happen. Put your money where that big ass mouth is and go kill a person.

You have their names and can find their addresses easily enough, I am sure. What is stopping you from doing what you think is right? Too scared to pay the price yourself?

Dan Newhouse was given an endorsement by the NRA for opposing a ban on the AR-15 ammo that killed those kids. http://www.tri-cityherald.com/news/local…
