As a Red, one of My main peeves of the TYPE of immigration is this: there is no vetting of Racists, Misogynists and Homophobists - not to mention anti-Reds, by those who both aid and abet both legal and illegal aliens ( most of whom are anti-union, by the by;simply being POC doesn't not a saint nor angel make . . . . )

@3 - I'd rather she use her activism here to stand against your immorality and depravity.

This is a good strategy. It gives a clear message to all illegals: we will not tolerate you coming here *illegally* and interfering with *our* politics.

They have zero rights to agitate in a foreign country! Any other country would deport them immediately. The arrogance of these people needs to be checked. This also will encourage many illegals to "self-deport." ICE is doing a great job.

#6: So you'd have sent escaped slaves back to their masters? We once had a law in this country that required people to do that.

And in the Fifties, you'd have turned someone in because there was a law making it illegal for that person to be part of the political party they supported, or fired them from a government job because they were born gay? There was a law requiring those things, as well.

The only reason anyone from Mexico is here without documents is that we make it virtually impossible to emigrate from Mexico LEGALLY. There's no reason it should be anymore difficult to emigrate from Oaxaca than it is from Oslo, or Tijuana than it is from Turin. or from Veracruz than it is from Vienna.

No one is obligated to obey or enforce an IMMORAL law.

BTW, you would at least agree that people brought here as kids should be allowed to stay, right? That they shouldn't be punished for something their parents did by being sent to a country that's not there's in any real sense and in which they have no chance of surviving?

Looks like she's gonna be there awhile.

"Immigrants can be held by U.S. immigration officials indefinitely without receiving bond hearings, even if they have permanent legal status or are seeking asylum, the Supreme Court ruled Tuesday."

@5 - Your strategy doesn't seem to have an impact against the foreigners already actively agitating in our politics. Or has Mueller been going after Mexican activists lately and I just haven't heard about it?

@7
So you compare sending Mexicans back to Mexico to sending slaves back to slavers? That says a lot about your opinion of Mexico... must be a real shit-hole. And here I thought it was a beautiful and diverse country full of beautiful and diverse people doing beautiful and diverse things.

Please wait...
