This is going to be great now that consumers will get heafty fees on their internet bills to cover the cost of all that state government regulation. It will be soon enough that the bureaucracy paychecks will need to be fed because as we all know...”Idealism is fine, but as it approaches reality, the costs become prohibitive”.

@2 What is your estimate for the annual additional costs of the proposed legislation versus the annual additional costs imposed by the providers in a non-competitive market?

I'm with Thorny on this -- derr KomKast Korps et al should be the sole, natural deciders of what, if any, content is allowed to pass thru its monopolistic (duopolistic?) cables. For the NeoMasters of the Universe, what good IS Capitalism without total Corporate Control? Overburdensome Regulations are for Commies or Social Democracies. Not US.

We're not Citizens -- we're consumers, cannon fodder, and/or the collaterally damaged.
Get used to it.

Why not create a Washingtonians-owned IT infrastructure? Like the state's route system for highways? Duh . . . .--- http://www.taxsanity.org .

Cable bundles are freedom.
Phone carriers are love.
Billing errors are justice.
