A Wrinkle in Time is a children's book so it shouldn't be that surprising that its depictions of space and time are childish.

My god, it IS beautiful... Far more so than the 'Needle' itself. Wishing Olson Kundig the best possible success on a project of great magnitude and greater boredom.

I can't wait for the scaffold to be gone and the needle to be back. It just doesn't look right.

Since the scaffolding went up I’ve thought it looked cool even from a distance - so without being able to see the underbelly geometry.
