Funny, how the kid from a rich family who went to elite private schools gets to travel the world making money off of the cuisine of other cultures and nationalities. Do you think the twitterati will accuse him of appropriation?

Of course not! But two ladies who wanna make burritos get run out of town. Y'all think you are making anyone's lives any better with this?

As usual, a representative from the dominant Seattle culture gets a diss in on White Center. So, umm, since you are only reviewing like 4 or 5 places, maybe you could have managed to go to all of them? Or at least not insult ones you didn't even bother to experience? I guess not.

On the bright side, it keeps the colonizing assholes out of White Center for a little longer. So, thanks for that, I guess.

Nước mắm is fish sauce. Nước chấm is dipping sauce, and there are many, many different types in Vietnamese cuisine, made from all sources -vegetables, grains, seafood, fruits, meats...

We like Crawfish House in White Center. Very friendly.

All due respect to Crawfish House, which is reportedly very good, but when I asked, the owners said they don't do Viet-Cajun cuisine, just regular Cajun with one Asian-inspired sauce available. So that's why I didn't check it out for this article! I'd still love to try it.

Interesting to see how culinary involved and influential were the colonialist French. The Brits had to push drugs and alcohol to force locals tolerate their concoctions.

@2 What "diss on White Center" did you read?

Crawfish King is the best! I love their sauce and they know how to make the food spicy and flavorful
