The Columbia River is flowing at over 300,000 cubic feet per second, and flooding from high water volume due to a faster-than-expected snow melt is currently covering Walla Walla Point Park’s sandbar, pedestrian bridge, and sections of lawn and trails. The Wenatchee World drone video included below offers an aerial view of the Wenatchee shoreline and what's happening there, the serene, ambient music that accompanies it belying the danger those rising waters pose the higher and higher they get.

The video's nice, though.
