@1 -- yes, it's true we Lib/Progs are neither permitted nor allowed to stop in E. WA, unless it's for bathroom, gas or eats at various moms-n-pops scattered among the lonely tumbleweeds.... A simple (yet ignurnt) folk, they're almost always more'n happy to pose for pix with wealthy Sophisticates, especially from the Wet Side, as they like to call it, such as yourself.

PS don't forget to share your sympathies with them. They're usually pretty quick to show their appreciation for a fresh, new perspective such as yours, if I remember correctly. Make sure you get your trip on video. We'd love to see it!
