Pretty sure that if this was happening at the Canadian border, the GOP and it's supporters would be up in arms, crying foul, saying how wrong it is to separate children... white children, from their white parents. Anyone who grew up with an abuser knows the score. The tDUMBpnazis are now openly saying "look what you made me do," the craven, cowardly song of the bullying and abusive as they take children hostage. They are irredeemably despicable.

It doesnt matter that he’s lying. The more he gets the dems to look like they’re pro-immigration and weak on crime and weak on “the border,” the more he wins. As long as he sells the message white people want to hear (fewer brown people!) and forces the opposition to take up moderate positions on issues that keep just enough white liberals away from the polls (or voting for The Stein’s and Johnson’s of the world), he can keep deepening republican apartheid in this country. We dont live in the us anymore. We live in a camouflaged version of the confederacy, and it will remain in power for at least a generation, barring a major upheaval (like a catastrophic economic crash).
