"Reformed biphobe," Dan. Great news from BLOW -- though if he's reading the comments, "coming out" doesn't need to be a one-off announcement on social media. It can be a gradual comment here and there as opportunities arise. Though, don't let me talk you out of coming out announcement style! It's just that the "at a suitable time" hints at a road back to the closet that was paved with good intentions. Tell a few close friends first, that should give you the courage to tell others.

"Don't ask, DO tell" is a great shorthand for how to practice honest, ethical non-monogamy.
Beaver @2: It's a little tie thing. Ah, the early 80s.
@3 - agreed about BLOW. Coming out gradually can be more sustainable and less threatening. And I highly recommend he find bi+ or bi friendly queer community. Feeling part of a community makes coming out so much easier.
BLOW: Bi Visibility Day is 23rd September. If you are thinking of a social media coming-out, that would be a good way to do it contextually. http://www.bivisibilityday.com/
Cleo @4: Agree with your advice here and on the main thread. Bi five!
