This update will be very significant for a small group of readers and very insignificant for most—if you find yourself in the latter category, please read something better suited to your lifestyle choices—but Alyssa Edwards is finally coming to Netflix.
The drag star, most known for being a charismatic pageant show-stealer on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 5 and RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars Season 2, will be getting her own documentary series on Netflix, titled Dancing Queen, with all eight episodes of the first season dropping October 5. Based on the trailer, it's going to be Abby Lee Miller on drag steroids. Toddlers & Tiaras with high-kicks. Set in Mesquite, Texas, the drag celebrity essentially trains babies to compete in a highly competitive dance circuit. The Bible Belt is already having a collective panic attack. Watch:
The queen you know. The stories you don't.

While "all tears, all shade" makes my eyes roll so far back in my head I find my pineal gland, the number of GIFs this show will generate is enough to make it noteworthy. No one gives GIF like Alyssa Edwards, and I'm glad her pilot (from four years ago!!!) finally got picked up:
