Weekday Trumpdate gives you the latest on the ongoing catastrophe in the White House.

Donald Trump Is: Looking for the biggest stadium he can find in the Lone Star State to hold a rally for Senator Ted Cruz, who is unexpectedly in a tight race for the Senate position he daily embarrasses with his good-for-nothing brains. Donald Trump's tweet: “I will be doing a major rally for Senator Ted Cruz in October. I’m picking the biggest stadium in Texas we can find... As you know, Ted has my complete and total Endorsement. His opponent is a disaster for Texas — weak on Second Amendment, Crime, Borders, Military, and Vets!” There is a good chance that Democratic U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke of El Paso will remove Cruz from the national stage.

I Hope Cruz Knows About This:

Rev. Al Sharpton Opens a Can of Whoop on Trump's Ass at Aretha Franklin's Funeral: “You know the other Sunday on my show, I misspelled ‘respect,’ and a lot of y’all corrected me. Now I want y’all to help me correct President Trump to teach him what it means. And I say that because when word went out that Ms. Franklin passed, Trump said, ‘she used to work for me '... No, she used to perform for you. She worked for us. Aretha never took orders from nobody but God.” The whole story is here.

Trump Tweet of the Day:

Why Do People So Badly Want Trump to be Gracious to Dead and Gone for Good McCain? Let it go, bruh. We get it. Trump is petty. But has he ever said he ain't? Has he ever done anything that didn't say: I'm petty? No. Never. Not once. So, stop. If you love McCain so much, just do your moaning on your own and leave the president alone.

I Wish I Knew What This Was Saying About Trump:

Though Microsoft's Chinese translator cannot be trusted, it does sound very ominous indeed:
The White House is in danger: brain drain, hard to parry" Donald Trump's aides and allies are Trump in private to warn that as Trump's legal and communications advisers become smaller, he will struggle to parry the opposition if the DPJ wins control of the house in November.
