Weekday Trumpdate gives you the latest on the ongoing catastrophe in the White House.

Yesterday's op-ed published by a senior White House official anonymously in the New York Times claiming that the president is a dangerous idiot is still on the dangerous idiot's mind.

Meanwhile, Trump's advisers are considering the idea of giving polygraph tests to find out which senior official wrote the op-ed and his top cabinet officials have paraded themselves in front of the nation claiming that they aren't the mole. Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and even First Lady Melania Trump have all claimed their innocence.

Trump is now too close to The Stranger's office for comfort after he landed in Montana this afternoon to campaign for Matt Rosendale. Rosendale is in a close race against Democrat Jon Tester. The world hopes Tester wins.

Trump sends a quick love note to a brutal dictator that has imprisoned thousands and personally signed off on the execution of at least 340 people in just six years.

Trump assaults the basic principles of the Constitution on a daily basis but sometimes he attacks our country in ways that are surprising by even his standards. In an interview with the website Daily Caller earlier this week, Trump said that he doesn't think the government should allow protests.

"I think it's embarrassing for the country to allow protesters, you don't even know which side the protesters were on. But to allow someone to stand up and scream from the top of their lungs and nobody does anything about it is frankly — I think it's an embarrassment," Trump said.

For those Americans that are unaware of the bedrock principals of our nation: the right to protest is the first amendment to our constitution.

Donald Trump, Jr., the president's large adult son, posted a photo of Nike's new ad campaign with the president's face in place of Colin Kaepernick's. Kaepernick has sacrificed his professional football career by protesting against the racist treatment of black people in America. Trump has never sacrificed anything in his entire life.

Our president doesn't know how to spell consumer. He also doesn't care.

It's the 594th day of Trump's presidency and we are all still somehow alive.
