4chan strikes again! I love the people who believe this stuff and trash Alex Jones at the same time. They are literally the same thing except one is pretty funny.

@2 It's like flipping someone the bird. It's a clear gesture that just is not done accidentally. Keep in mind, she was on Stephen Miller's team, and involved in in drafting the Muslim ban and the zero-tolerance policy that separated toddlers from their mothers. She knows exactly what the gesture would be read as in that context, and it was not unintentional. Miller is Jewish as well, and a long time racist and supporter of white supremacy. There are also Latino Supremacists who are proud of their Castilian heritage, and consider themselves to be descended from Spanish speaking Europeans. They see themselves as much like the Irish and Italian communities in America, who also were not considered "white" at one time, until they served White Supremacy.

@3 I heard that a thumbs up means "Hitler did nothing wrong"

Imagine being dumb enough to spend time/money go see the PUMA lady who tweets mean things about the president.

Also, if you're incredulous over the idea of a Mexican-American white nationalist, uhhh, you probably have a weird stilted view of race politics in Latin America.

I’ve never understood what Amy Siskind is - or what it means to be a “figure in The Resistance.” Is she anything more than a social media person or writer? Does she have coherent policy positions and ways of getting them enacted? Is The Resistance creating a polticial party with a platform? I agree broadly with opposing the policies of the president and the GOP, since I believe both are bad long-term; but I don’t think a cottage industry of outrage-stokers does much other than make us feel good about ourselves.

She's just out to make a buck.

It's also ASL sign language for asshole jackkay so maybe it was aimed at you.

People already diluted the meaning of the word racism to the point of self-serving obscurity, now they're creating a mechanism for potentially interpreting any action as racist dog whistling? This is insanity. New low for humanity, beautiful.

This is a very dangerous time and opening the door for more horrors by this demented regime is not something we should ignore. It is time to speak out and stand up and keep 1933 in mind.

Anyone supportive of the Trump regime is a person untrustworthy and supporting a extreme right wing criminal government. Stealing children from their parents and caregivers is more than enough criminal activity. Who will they target next and who will stop them? We need to stand together against this.

It's interesting how american conservatives are terrified of everything except the burgeoning white supremacist organizations in their backyards

@7 The Alt-Right decided to turn the OK sign into a White Supremacist hand sign because they thought it was the perfect way to spread their influence and be able to deny it at the same time. So you get far-right folks like Zina Bash and Roger Stone flashing it, and then claiming that they didn't, and we're all just triggered lefties assuming that just because they are bigots advancing racially antagonistic policies like child separation, they might actually be Nazis.

"We invite difficult conversations at The Riveter," communications manager Amy Kugler told me. "We are aware that there are many discussions around Amy Siskind's work, and we've asked her to discuss the recent social media activity. She agreed to do so."

Which she did not do. At all. When asked, she dodge all questions about it. Niceeee.
