I'm not too surprised that Kavanaugh lost his cool. So did Clarence Thomas decades ago. Maybe you don't recall his "This is Kafkaesque!" outburst. He lost it too but still got on the Court. So, Kavanaugh's eruption might be a planned one. Dunno. Clearly in the past few weeks, both he and Blasey-Ford have gone through hell. I reckon they have a right to be quite angry.

Look, I get what is at stake, a seat on the Supreme Court. It's a "he said/she said" moment. We only have their sworn testimonies at this point. Let see what the Senate does.

Seeing how broken the Senate is, I'm contemplating what it would take for a sitting justice to be impeached and convicted by 2/3 of the Senate. If he's a reliable vote, I think he could rape somebody on the bench as long as there isn't video to make it embarrassing for his camp.

Professor Ford had nothing to gain except to relive the trauma and pain of the attack she experienced.
