The one obvious question AND YOU TOTALLY WIFFED IT:
"Are you Werner Herzog's daughter?"
What is it with you white guys with those white beards?

3

Katie is the only one with the balls the stand up to the social justice warriors at The Stranger and beyond. Kudos for hiring her even if I disagree with her anti-capitalist positions.

2: When we get older, if we wear beards they turn white. So do everybody else's beards. If we don't shave them, it's because we don't like what we'd look like without them. Any other questions on this?

6

A promising headline turned into a snooze. I like her but I don't like dumb interviews.

8

@3 do you simply create new accounts all the time, or is there some secret to changing your screen name?

9

3: There has never been such a thing as a "Social Justice Warrior" in the way you guys on the Right mean the term-a lonely, pathetic isolated person who doesn't actually care about social oppression but simply seeks attention: People who speak out against racism, sexism, anti-LGBTQ prejudice and xenophobia do so solely out of sincere personal conviction. It's obscene to imply that people would do that simply to noticed or something. The only thing more obscene is the "snowflake" canard-the notion that nobody has any GOOD reason to speak out against people like Trump, but does so only due to "hurt feelings".

It's very telling that those who support Trump so often sound like the school bullies they were when the respond to those who oppose what that scumbag does.

"He is currently being held hostage willingly interning at The Stranger to write Slog AM please send help."

Lol.

Reading this was like watching two jars of mayonnaise discuss which seasonings they won't be using on their chicken.

OMG -- who DOESN'T Love Public Radio!
Well, now that they've sold out to the Kochs
I love 'em a little less.

And then you have: Mind Over Matters -- thee best THREE hours of Public Radio!
of the weekend, beginning at 6am, both Saturday and Sunday, on KEXP 90.3 FM.

"Mind Over Matters carries a wide range of provocative speakers and guests who bring our listeners viewpoints not often heard in the corporate media. MOM focuses on today's most important social, political and economic issues giving voice to the people directly impacted and involved. By giving a forum to those not normally heard in corporate media, MOM offers a unique perspective on the issues that impact our daily lives.

MOM carries a stellar list of nationally produced shows including Alternative Radio, Counterspin, Radio Nation, Making Contact and TUC Radio. We also carry several locally produced shows including The Sustainability Segment, Community Forum, and Deep Water.

Some of the unique voices you'll hear on MOM include Howard Zinn, Vandana Shiva, Noam Chomsky, David Korten, Molly Ivins, Greg Palast, Winona LaDuke, Robert McChesney, Ralph Nader, Arundhati Roy, Michael Moore, Naomi Klein and John Judge."

Except -- KEXP's gonna fade it off the Airwaves soon.
Another horrific blow in the Corporatization of America, LLC.

My question for Katie is when you watch Maya Rudolph on TV or in a movie, do you have a nagging desire for her to be a little better looking, and then you feel bad about yourself for thinking it? I'm asking for a friend.

15

Just so you know Michael, you don't have to suck up to all the writers to be a good intern.

16

Jesus Christ, what a puke-worthy circle jerk.

17

@14 -- panic not, Earthling.
They're sending another
ASAP
and there's always Elon

PS: Check O2 levels!

@16

Welcome Home!

18

Wow, yes! Lets be icky towards the intern and the subject of his article! Such productive conversation. I can even feel myself getting smarter and funner as I type this!

19

Oooooh 14 that was totally next level. I'd tip my hat but I'm AI.
