Temple De Hirsch Sinai was packed last night for the Town Hall event with Jill Soloway, Hannah Gadsby, Morgan Parker, and others. It went on a bit long, it was not a polished show*, and by the time it was over, people were racing out of the main room to get to the bathrooms before everyone else got to the bathrooms. In the melee, it seems someone left behind their gloves.

I tried to return the gloves to a Town Hall employee, but she wasn't sure what the best way to return them to their owner would be (Town Hall is being renovated right now, so Temple De Hirsch Sinai is one of many venues throughout the city where Town Hall is temporarily holding events), and I could not find anyone who was employed directly by Temple De Hirsch Sinai to see if there was an official onsite lost and found.

So, with the blessing of the Town Hall employee who agreed this would be best, I took the gloves with me, with a promise to put up a Slog post trying to reconnect the gloves to their rightful owner. If you are that person, send me an email.

* Hannah Gadsby's set at the top of the show was polished, though. It was perfect. And she got a roaring ovation. Representative joke: "Who plays golf if you can have friends?" And then after the laugher died down: "It's walking and stopping. That's all it is."
