Please consider changing the photo to a Horizon Dash 8 Q-400, the model of aircraft that Russell piloted.

2

Anyone who watches the bag throwers at any airport realizes that they are not motivated to handle the bags in the manner a passenger might expect. Shitty work for not enough money, to the point that they will fuck your stuff up right out in the open because management doesn't care either.

So the FBI wasted a bunch of time and money to come to a completely obvious conclusion

Christians are the worst people. Disgusting entitlement brats.

6

as 1 stated...wrong type of plane.

accuracy is cool....hip even!

7

4 Do you ever wonder why people call you stupid?

8

@6:

Too bad you're neither hip, cool, nor accurate - and Schumacher would probably be pissed you're hiding behind his image...

8

quite the oppostite...I am all three.....and far more of a catch than you.

and Saint Michael would be tickled that I have his pic..

poor chris comte, always looking for a fight, even though he stands not chance at winning

10

@1 I would assume she couldn't find a picture of a "Horizon" Dash-8 because for years now all the Horizon planes (including the one the guy crashed) have had Eskimos on the tail and "Alaska" written in huge letters on the side.

12

@9:

Ah, look everybody - somebody learned how to use a search engine! Did you show off your new "mad Interweb skillz" to your mom? If you're very, very good and eat all your vegetables, maybe she'll let you attempt to program her VHS player!

The Stranger is running the wrong photo because that's what they did the last time they covered this story:

https://www.thestranger.com/slog/2018/08/17/30824665/i-worked-with-richard-russell-at-horizon-air-and-i-understand-why-he-did-what-he-did

What is wrong with you commentors? Are you all new here or something? Everyone knows that editorial oversight and accuracy are nonexistent at the Stranger. What did you expect?

Stranger Editors:

Look at post #9 from "bring NHL to Seattle." He tracked down another user's full name, made that user aware that he knew his full name, and then commented that that user couldn't win a fight against him.

The person who posted this is for sure sharp enough to know that there's a threat of violence embedded in the coalescence of the "I know exactly who you are" and "now I'm going to talk about beating you in a fight."

Deniability shouldn't be your standard, and probably isn't. It certainly won't be the court's if something happens and people start suing.

We all know it was meant as a threat. Ban this guy please.

I didn’t need a search engine fool, another poster has mentioned it numerous times.....along with some charges of really creepy behavior.

Don’t really care, as your are pretty much irrelevant.

alleged neckbeard. I read it on the interwebs

Is that your professional manbun opinion?

@15,16: Who's a fake? Comte? Sorry, but no. He is entirely real and a lovely person with whom I have socialized in real life. Plus, can I just say someone pretending to be a space station reeeeeeeeeallly shouldn't be accusing others of being fake.
Unless you actually are a space station and the singularity is upon us, in which case you yourself can serve as the venue for the next Slog Happy, and wouldn't that be exciting!
Also why are you so interested in what we all look like? It's not like this proposed meet up would involve speed dating.

24

@23: That's kind of a big question.
Do you mean regarding a Slog Happy?

25

I feel bad for this dude and his fam. He didn't get fucked over he just got unlucky, the way millions of otherwise average people do in the orbit of large urban cities. People lash out in a lot of ways, I found Russell's a relatively innocent way to do so.

26

Interesting that the FBI released a report before the NTSB did. I wonder what happens if the NTSB report eventually conflicts with this FBI report?

27

I'm pretty sure hockey bozo and the space station looney toon found some method of creating profiles that the mods can't ban. I even recall the space cadet recently posting some coding instructions on doing so.

28

@14 He is using his real name and is known in the local scene. It's pretty easy to tell by the posts and the fact he uses his real name who it is.

@22 I think he really might be the space station...
