I haven't been back since they first opened - but at that time the food was super overpriced (and not great), and it just did not seem like a great fit for the neighborhood. I feel like the vibes of Hellbent and Korochka Tavern are the way forward for Lake City.

Sour ale is a good first step in the process of making amends for IPA

I just wish Brother Barrel had better hours. They are closed Sunday, and don't open until 3:00 on Saturday. That makes them useless for lunch on the weekend. Same with the weekday, for that matter. In contrast, Hellbent is open every day at noon, while Elliot Bay (which spawned this enterprise) is open at 9:30 AM on the weekends (!) and 11:00 AM on the weekdays (now that's more like it). The point is, there are folks that prefer the beers and environment of Brother Barrel, but rarely go there, because they aren't open in the middle of the day.

Hi, Lester-you need to take a trip to Tin Dog Brewing where we have made Barrel Aged blended beers for 2 1/2 years with local ingredients like Skagit Valley Malt. We have won Gold, Silver and Bronze for our Wild and Sour Ales both at the Washington Beer Awards and the Brewers Choice Awards In June. We also were featured in “The Herbfarm”Restaurant in April. How about an article about us?
