Seattle played well, but the Rams are just too strong this year

2

Haven't had a chance to watch many Seattle games this year, but that Wilson to Lockett TD throw in the fourth was nuts.

Perfect throw and an amazing catch.

Thursday's Sounders match and yesterday's Seahawks games were damn entertaining. Too bad the results weren't better.

Thursday Night Football is an abomination. No team should be back on the field after four days.

Welcome to The Plantation.
Where, if we lose a few playas, each game,
there's plenty more where those came from....

Well, not really.
But Profits.

Pete's White Privilege getting in the way of coaching to win? I mean, look what happened to Colin Kaepernick: comments by the mile prove there are PLENTY of "humans" who don't ever want to see another POC QB lift the Lombardi trophy . . . .

This season is going pretty much as expected. The team is good, but will probably fall short of making the playoffs. I think what is frustrating for fans (even casual ones like myself) is the quality of the offense, especially the offensive line. Where the fuck was this offense two years ago? I didn't watch this entire game, but the first two Seahawk drives were fantastic. I realize the Rams are better offensively than defensively, but still. The first two drives where amazing. Just bad-ass, no holds barred offensive football. We marched down the field to score a touchdown, and when the Rams answered, we did it again! At the end of the first quarter, we are up 14-7, on the Rams, on their field. At the beginning of the second half, we are up 21-20. All of this was offense. No pick six. No fumble, resulting in a long field goal. Just three drives, all 75 yards, for three touchdowns. Good God, if we had that a few years ago, we would have won a couple more championships. If you have an offense like that, with the defense we had -- you win Super Bowls.

But of course, we no longer have that defense. Our defense is mediocre, along with our offense. Yes, both are prone to moments of brilliance, but neither is elite, and as a result, we probably won't make the playoffs. If we do manage to squeak in, we will lose.
