Reichert--just a typical RepubliKKKan coward and bully. May he rot and all his ilk in hell.

2

If we sue him for the unearned salary, could we win?

3

@2:

Better yet, dock him some of his lucrative Congressional "lifetime pension"; I think 20% sounds reasonable.

4

@2 seatackled & @3 COMTE: Agreed and well said. Let's hit Reichert where he'll feel the butthurt the most--in his oversized wallet. Hey--I've got an idea--why don't we do that with ALL grossly overpaid, useless RepubliKKKans (which would pretty much cover it)? Think of the economic redistribution back to We, the People of the 99%. I'll bet we'd be back to a Clinton era surplus.

5

AWESOME, well-deserved Euology, Rich.
Well Done.

@4 --- YES!

"When they called his D.C. office phone, they were met with a recording from Reichert ... instructing them to contact Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell if they needed help."

Way to go, Congressman --
leave it for the Dems to clean up after you.

Like Trumpfy's gonna do,* when the shit hits the fan and The Economy implodes in 2019 or 2020 (as it always does, though typically sooner). He'll be armchair quarterbacking from the sidelines, broadcast LIVE to you on Trumpfy TEEVEE 24/7/365 -- you think this crass, clueless, classless, grab-assy Asshole's bad now?

Think again.

*the Odds on Trumpf's death grip on the Offal Office lasting until January 21, 2021 are getting longer and longer. (Hmmm ... this might be a good time for some Xmas Cheery bets with the fambly) (WILL Ideology trumpf common sense?) (Stay tuned)

@6 kristofarian: Ooohh! Film update at 11! I can't wait! With AG Super Bob's and FBI investigator Robert Mueller's help, let's stick a fork in this neofascist wacko administration's big, fat mushroom ass and call it DONE.

All IN, baby!

Forget ye not that he was outsmarted his entire career by gary ridgway.

This is an unfair piece. As a retiring member, Reichert was kicked out of his congressional office shortly after the election. Anyone who has been on Capitol Hill after an election knows there is a mad dash to clear out retiring and defeated members, move existing members and create office space for newly elected members. Reichert has gone from a nice office to a basement cubicle with no room for his staff. Reichert may be looking to leave but it is equally true that the system is pushing him out to accommodate newly elected members. I am a Democrat and have no connection to Reichert but I’ve seen this this out with the old and in with the new dance many times including yesterday on Capitol Hill.

@10: Concern troll much?
