How is "democracy" gonna Work if fb, GOOGLE et al are forced to Comply? What about THEIR FreeSpeech rights? There is no point in having regulation at all if the regulator is the same entity being regulated.

Now, we can argue whether the regulation should exist at all, and that would be a good scission to have. However, if we start from the premise that the regulation itself must exist, then we have to ask how objective any entity tasked with enforcing that regulation upon itself can possibly be.

For example, if it were to be decided that armed robbery was to be illegal, would we hand the regulation barring it to persons known for committing armed robbery in the hopes that they might arrest and then bring themselves to justice at the time fo their next infraction?
