HUMP! is hiring a Marketing and Events Coordinator!
The right person for the job will own, produce, and execute multiple email campaigns per week and build and own our social media platform. They will also travel at minimum twice a month as part of our festival production team (HUMP!, SPLIFF, and Savage Love Live.) If you are a highly organized and detail-oriented self starter who can quickly master new tools, initiate great marketing ideas, and manage multiple projects at once with hustle and accuracy, we want to talk to you.
Create and execute relevant stories to engage our social community and inspire new members.
Build, engage, and foster a network of influencers in order to help grow the brand and revenue.
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, design and strategy.
Create, proofread and distribute multiple weekly newsletters.
Analyze email campaign results and recommend changes for future email campaigns.
Minimum twice a month travel to festival stops around the country, which will include front of house/back of house logistics (AV tech, customer service and ticket scanning.)
Skills and Requirements:Strong knowledge of email marketing, specifically Mailchimp, with specific skills in data analysis and strategy.
Proven track record of growing a social media community.
Personal "power user" of social media platforms.
Strong knowledge of social media landscape and platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others (Youtube, Snapchat).
Ability to adapt to ever-changing technology and social trends.
Basic event production knowledge.
Photography/video direction experience is a plus.
Ability to think strategically and stay on top of deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Salary and BenefitsStarting salary range between $40-50K DOE
