Nothing would've happened without Eli. TY, man! (455M would represent actual justice, eh?)

3

I would very much like Bob Ferguson to be our next governor.

4

Thanks, Eli!
THANKS, Fergie!
(and thank YOU, Stranger) !

Who's Next?

6

"tech giants Facebook and Google today agreed to pay a collective $455,000 to avoid upcoming trials in cases that arose from Stranger reporting."

We ought to award media and individuals small finders fees for the fines that result from discovering unlawful activity. It already exists for unpaid taxes, defrauding government, and some securities fraud whistleblowing; why not more? (At the state level at least?)

That guy reminds me of Bill Gates and Bill Nye.

OK, but...

No admission of wrongdoing, and the penalty just doesn't sound like a deterrent at all, those companies are worth, let's see here... 700+ billion plus ~400 billion divided by a few hundred thousand... LITERALLY MORE THAN A MILLION TIMES the amount of the fines.

Perhaps, before Fergie's finished with them, they'll get annoyed at the Escalating Scale for their "small crimes" -- and we'll either make a lot of money, over time, they'll fully comply, or Trumpfy* pulls a Coup.

*well, Putin really, but you know how Trumpfy likes to get his name on things

Go, Eli, SuperBob, and The Stranger, GO!!!
@4 kristofarian : All IN, baby! Yeah!
