Facebook is suspending all political ads in Washington state: By the end of December, Facebook says it will halt the sale of state and local ads in Washington. This comes after Facebook and Google settled with Attorney General Bob Ferguson for a combined $455,000. Google suspended its political ad sales in Washington this summer.

Matt Hickey is out of prison and is banned from the internet: Hickey, a freelance journalist and porn scammer, only served 11 months of his 34-month sentence on charges of felony sex offense and three counts of assault. That’s because he earned “good conduct time.” He's out now and has to stick to his probation for three years. Some of those terms involve not having a computer or access to the internet.

Renton woman arrested for killing her teenage daughter: A 52-year-old Renton woman went to her ex-husband’s house. He had custody of her two children: a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl. Just the boy was home and let his mom in. She zip-tied and gagged him. When the father and daughter returned, she zip-tied the husband. The daughter ran upstairs and called 911. The woman allegedly followed, zip-tied the girl, and shot her in the head.

Elon Musk's tunnel is pretty dumb: Musk's Boring Company, meant to dig holes under Los Angeles to alleviate traffic for the number of people who fit inside a Tesla, unveiled its first tunnel last night. It sucked. It was bumpy and small and Musk's original hi-tech supervision seemed lost. But, what was impressive was that it only cost $10 million per mile to build and was built in 18 months. That's cheaper and faster than most tunnels. To put that into perspective, the light rail tunnels cost $600 million per mile.

Johnson & Johnson has to pay up over cancer-causing lawsuit: The scandal, for those of you not tuned into the juicy J&J gossip, is that Johnson & Johnson's baby powder contained asbestos that may have given some women—22 currently—cancer. J&J is coughing up "$4.14 billion in punitive damages and $550 million in compensatory damages," according to the New York Times. It's one of the biggest personal injury awards on record.
