What is so enraging about twits like this guy is that they will dig tirelessly to locate some dubious harms caused by legalization, and distort the data if they can't find much of anything, but they'll barely spend a microsecond considering the harms of prohibition. Because of some, likely non-causal, connection between weed and mental illness it is right and proper for thugs to be kicking in doors shooting people, prisons to be filled to bursting with non-violent drug offenders, people's lives destroyed from being thrown into the gnashing gears of the criminal justice system. The drug war has explicitly clear and very dire harms that dwarf any of the harms (mostly to health) from any drug. This completely does not register with those with the authoritarian mindset, or if it does it is irrelevant. They don't like something so using the armed coercion of the state to stomp it out is perfectly OK.
