Most importantly, itā€™s about the coffee and not some groveling bullshit experience.

Iā€™m on day three of my new super-cool Breville machine - the wand spits out water for a few seconds before it becomes steam and it effectively pulls ristretto shots, but Iā€™m a fan.

What is the "Apartment Guide," and why should I care about it?

3

Where is "West Lake" and "Pioneer"? Anywhere near Westlake and Pioneer Square?

Almost every city has a Dunkin Donuts, so they're all tied for first place.

Hasn't anyone thought of visiting Italy before making such bold statements? Or even France?

Granted, American cities are probably the best to get American-style coffee. That doesn't mean it's the best type of coffee. Personally, I'd take an Italian espresso over an American one any day.

Great Article Mr. Black!!

But PLEASE dont forget, or 'dis' other World-class ROASTERS or MACHINES. Like some of the following.(not a damn commercial)

From 30 lists of "Top Roasters", here's one list:
https://gearpatrol.com/2018/12/01/25-best-coffee-roasters-america/

When it come's to The World's Best MACHINES, lets all grab one of these babies:
Jura GIGA X7 - "Refurbished"
Regular price $8,999.00. Sale $6,495.00
(Refurbished? Damn!)

Or this:
Nuova Simonelli Aurelia 3 Group Espresso Machine
Price: $9,315.00
(WTF?)

Just saying, like the 2 comments above, Dunkin Donuts might be the best coffee for some people, but dont forget Italy, France, other U.S. cities and Beyond! LA? NY?

Each year there are alot of who's the 'BEST' reports that are different from 'our' 'local' reports-studies and may hurt our feelings. But come on Seattle. I know it hurts, but sometimes you got to get over yourselves.

Thanks!

Cuban coffee over every watery North American drip.
But seriously Berkeley and SF do have great coffee.

Can't beat Vietnamese coffee or powdered instant coffee! Try a bag of it,it's WAY cheaper than those joints at 30 to 40 cents a cup while your paying 10 times that amount...

You can also find the current United States Barista Champion (Cole McBride) behind the bar full time at Adas Discovery Cafe on Capitol Hill.

I'm a daily drinker of Anchorhead for location, but Herkimer is hands-down one of the top on the West Coast IMHO

Please wait...
