While they allow wall to wall pharmaceutical ads, they should permit Cannabis ones. However, as a public health matter, they shouldn't have either. Only 2 countries in the entire world allow pharmaceutical ads. Why do other places ban it? Because it is a demonstrably bad idea.

The super bowl is probably the most socially conservative, mass viewed event in the country. Pot freaks those mundanes WAY too much.

Which is kind of odd, because their audience is not going anywhere, no matter what they do.

Then again, it is not like they are going to be scrambling to fill the ad space, so why choose a more controversial ad if a less controversial one is paying the same fee?
