It’s not the snow we fear. We think it’s the snow. But it’s not. It’s the gross incompetence of our local government in accomplishing a thing as trivial as maintaining the basic functions of a city notwithstanding a little snow that we fear.
@2 -- not to worry. When The Big One comes, or an errant North Korean missile inadvertenly finds its way here, or Tahoma erupts (like Chief Seattle used to)(a great Warrior, Legend has it)(or maybe it was Lover), then you'll see a truly non/malfunctioning gov't.
Snowpocolypse started out with a Bang, but it's (currently) barely a whisper. Not blowing, not snowing; perhaps it'll happen overnight and we'll wake up to what we used to get fairly regularly, if memory serves.
Snow was the best part of winter.
Especially if you didn't hafta navigate over it....
Jesus Charles, recently it’s been, rage against (the):
-“ugly viaduct”
-“gloves”, and now
-“Seattle’s reaction to snow”
Maybe you should just chill out and worry about stuff that actually matters.

@1 if anything, the data show that Seattle now sees fewer significant snow storms, not the opposite

Don't forget the scene from Doctor Zhivago (one of the greatest movies of all time): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGd87xRnEAI

This article is a hot mess.
