That was otterly adorable but were they exercising snowball making skills or snowball eating skills?

2

You know who ELSE is not running (for once)? Lyndon LaRouche.

Good. Goddamn. Riddance.

24 years may seem like a really, really long time, but in Dave's defense, he was a truly shitty detective.

4

T-Mobile Park sounds like they're getting ready to host all those van dwellers in the neighborhood.

5

“So long, Opportunity” should have been the title for the blurb about the Viaduct.

6

@2 Wait. If LaRouche is dead, why am I still seeing people holding pictures of our current president done over as Hitler?

7

@5

Opportunity for what, exactly?

Dying of thirst with two broken legs under ten feet of rubble, three days after a major earthquake?

8

“If people knew they would say I was like R Kelley lol,” he wrote.

Yeah.

Yikes to everyone in North Bend and eastbound commuters from Seattle / Issaquah et al! I-90 is a mess from North Bend to Ellensburg, with no westbound lanes open to traffic due to avalanches. Everyone stay warm and safe, especially after thawing roads, streets, and sidewalks refreezing over.

@9, don’t worry, there are five wannabe Mike O’Briens ready to fall Mike O’Briens vacating seat. These candidates reflect what Seattle wants.

Nathalie -- RIP = Rest In Peace -- not piece, or pieces.

Opportunity (all in one piece, its solar collectors now, sadly, covered in anti-charging dust) will not be knocking around on Mars again, at least not anytime soon.

"All quiet on the Red Planet."
Hardly.
All is not quiet there. Not at all. Curiosity still roves & sciences and stuff (How could you forget Curiosity??). The Mars Express orbiter continues to, uh, orbit, expressly. India's Mars Orbiter Mission is still fully operational. InSight touched down last December and -just- placed it's seismic monitoring device the other day. Then there's the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Mars Express, and MAVEN.

In fact, Mars is the only planet in the Solar System inhabited entirely by robots.. .o_O

@12 Wow!
