Good for Jay. I don't rate environmental stuff as high as him, but he seems to be the most professional of all the candidates running as yet.

. " 'The one thing we've learned is there are multiple ways to skin this cat,' he said... "

'Cat skinning'? Jesus, Jay. That's gonna go over well with the PETAs.

He can't hang is hat totally on climate change. To win he has to appeal to voters' other concerns whether or not they seem as paramount to him. Hence his logo is problematic.

It's like if gets the nomination and loses, dems will say that voters are too stupid about climate change to not have elected him. The better tactic is to broaden his appeal, win, and address climate change.

Jay's not running for 2020 -- he's (prolly) got his sights set on 2024 or '28, but MUST get his name out there to have a scintilla of a chance in those (eventually-) upcoming races, where, to be seen as having been on the Correct Side of History (sorry Republicans) will mean mucho to today's youth -- tomorrow's Voters.

Assuming, of course, Republican boot-lickin' Oilgarchs / shills haven't already made this Planet uninhabitable by then. And, with their death-grip on "our" wholly-Corps-owned mass media, I do NOT like our Odds for Survival all that much.

I don't find Inslee to be charismatic, which I think is important, if not essential, for a Democratic candidate (if Hillary had Bill's -- or Barack's -- charisma, she would've beaten Trump.) To me, he's always seemed stiff and kind of has a mumble-mouth way of talking.

If he did become the Democratic nominee, I'd vote for him over Trump (or any other Republican) but he's far from my favorite Democratic candidate, especially owing to his appointment of Dale "Eyeball" Peinecke -- who I believe was a good buddy of his -- as Commissioner of the Employment Security Department.
