yet another Facebook story where they are correcting something even a child knows is shitty, while pretending, "gee somehow that slipped by all the people talking about, approving, designing the adds and how they will be implemented along with and excecs and owners of Facebook being informed of changes and implemented new ideas. Someone has to knowi it is all wrong all along.
Designing and implementing how Facebook looks does not happen by itself, someone has to say,"ya it is bad and evil but go ahead anyway until we get caught, just pretend we didn't realize it was happening".
The amount of money and information mined form people before they are called out must be worth it to them to constantly pretend they didn't know what is going on.
You can't put shit in the diaper before you put it on the baby then turn around and Go "ooooh right I didn't see that"

@4 well, Washington State is moving towards the GPDR data privacy rules that the EU and Canada has, so you might be right there.
