Collusion!

2

But but but Putin told Trump the Russians didn't do it!

4

“...the campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts,”

That may be the finest statement of modern Republican morality I’ve seen yet.

(Why, in my day, the Republicans simply stole Jimmy Carter’s briefing book themselves. I guess outsourcing really is the way to go.)

“Although the campaign and candidate were happy with crimes which benefited them, and so did nothing to stop the crimes, they didn’t actually help in committing the crimes.”

(Of course not; the Russians insisted such work be performed by professionals...)

5

No. This Barr’s “report.” And its a redacted stunt from a corrupt AG that was selected because he had already announced that a sitting (Republican) president can never be indicted for crimes and has his own troubling ties to Russian money (via Alfa Bank and the Vector Group, etc).

This administration is corrupt top to bottom and it would be great if the so-called press would stop fucking swallowing their framing like hungry mindless chicks.

6

@3 WORSE. The AG office admitted Tuesday they leaked it right off to Trumps lawyers so they could go through and redact it. The god damned AG!

If Obama has done any of this shit buildings would be burning.

7

Nothing to see here folks....might as well move along

9

Geez, I was going to make a joke, but the hysterical butthurt in this thread for something no one even knows the content of yet is way more hilarious than anything I thought of.

@6: Why tell such lies? They were given the redacted report being released today, they did not get the report early so they could redact it themselves, and they were legally barred from making or requesting any changes.

10

I don't expect Mueller or any other republican to implicate trump in anything, the report is a red herring and will probably only serve to help him get reelected.

10

@4

“Although the campaign and candidate were happy with crimes which benefited them, and so did nothing to stop the crimes, they didn’t actually help in committing the crimes.”

How is a candidate supposed to stop crimes?

11

@5: Yes, everybody gets that, but it is officially the Mueller Report.

12

@10: Funny thing is, it was on the Obama administration to do something and protect the integrity of the election, but they couldn't be bothered since they assumed Clinton would win and no one would ever have to know.

13

@12 "couldn't be bothered" forsooth.

That stuff might fly over on whatever subredit you inhabit but people out here have heard a different story

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/01/23/mitch-mcconnell-russia-obama-joe-biden-359531

https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2016/12/why-didnt-obama-reveal-intel-about-russias-influence-on-the-election/510242/

15

@14 Reading 101: A comma is a punctuation mark (,) indicating a pause between parts of a sentence.

A comma does not mean stop reading.

16

Whatta pathetic farce. The only surprise at this point is that none of the empty suits in the DOJ have the decency and integrity to resign and go public after being falsely smeared for spying by their own boss.

The DOJ’s tattered reputation is now officially shredded for a generation by these paper-tiger cowards who’ve bowed down in obsequious servitude to Prezinazi AntiChrist.

Newsflash: Emperor Shitler has no clothes, dumfux.

17

Oooooooh! This is going to be a juicy thread! :) I was waiting for a while to read The Stranger do some mental gymnastics and bend over every which way to justify their "collusion" conspiracy! Not to mention read the insane, homeless-bum-like ramblings of German Sausage and Grizelda. :). Let's see 'em! :)

19

@13: Yes, I suppose my little turn of phrase was a touch inaccurate. Stating "too incompetent/afraid to do anything about it" I guess may be closer to the truth.

But that Politico article is hilarious though: "We tried to stop Russia, but Mitch McConnell would not sign a piece of paper, so we couldn't! Also, trying to stop them would have just helped them!" Thanks you for that, likely the funniest thing I will see all day. My seven year old niece comes up with better excuses.

20

Short version:
Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!
but Congress has to file the charges because Barr short circuited it

21

@9 no, they were shown the full report, the one Congress wasn't given.

25

@21: Just stop lying, it really does not get you anything. As a joke, please try to prove your assertion.

@23: The executive branch does not need written permission from Mitch McConnell to review and act on civilian or military intelligence, and never has.

26

@25, just watch Maddow tonight...that should be an entertaining spectacle

28

@27: I would have preferred a leader with the balls to do what is right even if there was a chance in the future it made him look bad, but to each their own, I suppose.

"I would have protected American interests against a hostile foreign power, but it may have made people like me less" is a pretty poor excuse.

29

Trump is either an evil genius or an evil moron.

Pick a lane and stick with with it girls.

33

@29,

He's a fat-assed, shitbrained idiot. When the hell has anyone on here ever suggested he was a "genius," evil or otherwise?

35

"shitbrained idiot."

Amazing how he managed to work with the Russians to steal an election and get away with it then.

36

@33. Trump is your President and when he wins again he will still be your President. Are we clear?

37

"bunch of creationists, but ironically believe in social darwinism."

As opposed to people who believe in evolution but are shocked, shocked I tell ya, when Darwinism goes to work on say, people who inject heroin? Or squat on cocks and have babies without fathers who won't hang around?

I believe in both evolution and am hardly surprised by witnessing it in action.

38

@22 - playing make believe with your white hood again David?

40

It’s always amusing when Teddy says he’d be a supporter “if only they did [x] like I think they should have” as a premise for bashing a popular Dem.

41

@31: I agree, Obama should have realized that people's opinion of him did not matter, and done something about the Russian interference.

Instead, he chose to preserve his legacy and allowed the denigration of the legitimacy of our election.

But yes, it would have been a true horror if by doing so he raised the chance Trump would win, or made people think poorly of the sterling integrity of Hillary Clinton. Oh wait...

42

@9 Oh for fuck sake. Whose word do we have on that? Barr's?

How can you be this god damned stupid? What do you think they were doing with the report? Of course they added redactions. Or at the very least nodded and approved the redaction that were in place and giving Trump time to do a PR offensive.

When has an AG EVER given an advanced copy of a Special Prosecutor report to a presidents personal lawyers — when it's the president being investigated — ahead of congressional oversight and intelligence committees?

Never.

The AG is not the presidents personal lawyer, Dumbfuck.

43

@40: Funny how you obsess over what I write, but never seem to comprehend any of it.

Supporter or not, Obama was my president, just like Trump is yours, and I can praise or criticize him as I wish. Sorry if that makes you mad..

44

No surprise that Teddy's insights are once again just plagiarism:

“Russia interfered on Obama’s watch” reads the headline of the Thursday GOP press release, which erroneously claims that “well before the 2016 election, the Obama admin was aware of Russia’s intentions to interfere in the 2016 [election], and decided to do absolutely nothing about it.”

https://www.rawstory.com/2019/04/embarrassing-traitorous-rnc-slammed-spinning-mueller-report-blame-russian-election-interference-obama/

45

@42: I am not going to tell you that you can not just believe whatever you imagine/want to be true, but you do not get to claim that it is the only truth and everyone else must abide by your fantasies.

Or you could just attempt to prove what you are asserting. Try that sometime.

46

"Instead, he chose to preserve his legacy and allowed the denigration of the legitimacy of our election."

Holy shit. Chalk another thing that is amazingly Obama's fault. You really are stupid as dog shit.

I guess you forget that in order to investigate the Trump/Russia conspiracy, Obama would've had to involve the FBI much more intrusively into an opposing parties campaign in the last months of an election?

As it was Obama was immediately, and wrongly, accused of spying on Trump and just for the FBI following leads to known spies and criminals into the obit of the Trump organization. By. Guess who? Fucking Barr and the GOP, that's who.

47

@45 did they r did they not give Trump lawyers advanced copy of the report ahead of Congress?

Yes. They god damned did. That is no fantasy, dipshit. So in your delusional elf and fairly land what do you think they were doing with he report? Spell checking it?

48

@47: Nah, you said they gave Trump's lawyers the unredacted report and let them choose what to redact. That was your lie/fantasy. They gave them the same report everyone else got, like I said.

But your pathetic attempt to move the goalposts has been noted.

49

Actually, while Trump's decisions and policies affect all of us and our communities, Trump really isn't our president, just Teddy's and Shoreline's and all the other white nationalists'. They've made that pretty clear.

51

Most people would be happy that the President isn't a Russian asset or planted into power by a foreign power. But you know, whatever floats your boat

52

Stage Three: Bargaining

Two more to go!

53

@48 Good Christ. You are one of dumbest of the dumb trolls in here.

We know for a fact the Trumps lawyers got the report ahead of congress. That is a fact. not at the same time. But on Tuesday. They said it was so they could craft a point-by-point rebuttal f the reports contents. Which in and of itself is an outrageous conflict of interest for the AG to allow and has never been done before ever.

I mean. Fuck. Make up your mind. Obama need to stop the Russians or it wasn't something to worry about at all? Because a couple of months ago you were all "the Russian had no effect on the election" and shit like "well, if some grandma changed here vote because of Facebook meme" and nonsense like that.

And then of course you come in here fifty times a day, everday, like the loser you are with your thumb in your arse and repeat those same debunked Russian Troll farm memes almost verbatim.

54

"Most people would be happy that the President isn't a Russian asset or planted into power by a foreign power."

Which is why we are NOT happy. Because he IS a corrupt Russian stooge. Most people would demand the resignation of president with even a HINT of half the corrupt bullshit Trump has gotten away with.

55

So. Much. ButtHurt.....

(can't wait to see Maddow's puss this evening.
we just love it when reality slaps the shit-eating smirk off her face)

56

Time to move on.

57

It’s funny af when Teddy accuses anyone of moving goalposts.

And that whole “project their argumentative failures as comprehension issues” thing too.

@55 - Not interested in your twisted, immoral fantasies man. Instead, try farmersonly; I hear the Goosestepping Bootlickers dance competion is a real gas. Say hi to Shorelined David while you’re there.

58

"Radical left Democrats"... ha!
The REAL Radical Left are certainly NOT "Democrats".

What constantly amazes me is that the "Right" ---so allergic to 'tyranny' and 'hegemony' and anyone telling them what to do--- absolutely ^ignores^ how corporate moneypower controls the gummint and lays out their very own talking points for them. Talk about being controlled! They are totally blind to it.

I mean, the minority-President ^is^ a walking corporation himself... that's largely why they let him get elected in the first place. It's the final coup... nearly 40 years after Reagan, and the corporations have completely taken over.
Divide and conquer, man, they have divided and they have conquered.
And all the 2A people do nothing about it. Nothing at all.

59

57
holy crap, if the reality is a tenth as yummy as the ads for farmersonly...

60

56

not a chance.

Hillary colluded w Russia (for real) purchasing phony dirt on Trump
and obstructed justice with her BleachBit and hammer,
she'll find her titties are going into the wringer

and the 'investigation" into Trump was a shitshow of corruption and malfeasance at the highest levels of the Obama administration's intel and "justice" officials and their fucking heads are going to roll into a basket at the base of a guillotine.

Well see your 'resistance' and raise you

61

57
...although we have no idea what is ' twisted' or 'immoral ' @55...

62

Funny how the SS troll decided this time on a name that speaks of inadequacy.

63

58
When you say "minority-President" you display yourself an ignorant rube who doesn't know how Presidential elections work in this country or a traitorous Russian Tool trying to undermine confidence in the legitimately elected government.
How do you plead?

64

@63:

Just because the Cheeto-faced, ferret-wearing shitgibbon occupies the WH doesn't negate the fact he received a minority of the popular vote, hence the description "minority-President" is accurate in that regard. Now, start screaming about the Electoral College, if you must, but you cannot deny the math, because no matter how stridently you try to argue to the contrary 62,979,636 will ALWAYS be less than 65,844,610.

65

65,844,610 is a minority of the 136,669,276 votes cast and a super minority of the 245,502,000 eligible voters so do you refer to Hillary as the Minority Loser?
Did you refer to Bill as a minority president when he only got 43% of the vote?

Ignorant rube who doesn't know how Presidential elections work in this country or a traitorous Russian Tool trying to undermine confidence in the legitimately elected government.
How do you plead?

66

@22 Doofus in Shoreline: ...said another trolling idiot Trump apologist. As usual, your MAGA cap is on way too tight. Chronic wheezing from denial, over-consumption of industrial waste masquerading as a reliable food source, and woeful ignorance is generally not a good sign.
@38 & @40 Pridge Wessea: I know, right? Well said.
@64 COMTE: Thank you and bless you. Agreed and seconded.
@60, @63, and @65 Simple Simon: Pot, meet kettle. Go look in the mirror, you ridiculously argumentative hypocrite. MAGA caps cause brain damage.

67

@65:

People who are registered, but who don't vote aren't counted in vote totals, you ignorant slattern. Likewise, people who voted for Candidate C, D, or E cannot be added to the number of people who voted for Candidate B, because - guess what? - they DIDN'T ACTUALLY VOTE FOR Candidate B. But, keep up with the mental gymnastics: no doubt it'll make it that much easier for scientists to temporarily revive your recently deceased big-brain when the time comes.
