"Get your popcorn ready!"
Timothy, really?
An emoticon exists that you can use and you would not even need to pretend to think up a dumb things to write. Y'know, it's the millennial way.

@2: It's an appropriate idiom. Emoticons should be reserved for only for email and texting, never published content.

Technically speaking, McCain was a Senator. Yes the Senate is part of Congress, but they are referred to as Senators.
I like the idea of electric garbage trucks. I have a real problem with garbage trucks polluting our streets with leaking motor oil. However, just as bad is leaking hydraulic fluid. Why don't we hold the garbage companies to a very high standard and require their vehicles don't leak toxic fluids.

Natural gas is not cheap, clean or necessary: it is not a bridge fuel

1) Gas Breaks the Carbon Budget
2) Coal-to-Gas Switching Doesn’t Cut It
3) Low-Cost Renewables Can Displace Coal and Gas
4) Gas Is Not Essential for Grid Reliability
5) New Gas Infrastructure Locks In Emissions

If you care about whales, fish and the environment a cross-sound tunnel/bridge to remove a number of ferry routes is the best decision. It would also pay for itself considering the incredible amount of taxpayer waste WSF is responsible for. We literally give a no-bid contract to 1 shipyard to make our ferries... that doesn't make ferries for anyone else ever.
Impeachment is fucking stupid. It will galvanize the Republican base and be used to help them win but won't remove Trump. So what's the fucking point? Remove him in 2020. Or impeach and lose.

I would urge Speaker Pelosi to reconsider her position regarding impeachment.
The current dynamic of responding to the daily outrageous behavior of this lawless and immoral administration seems to only produce outrage fatigue.
We have all become cynical.
This inoculates Trump since it is obvious no outrage is too great for his corrupted base.
By initiating impeachment, Dems could gain control of the news cycle for days at a time and force the administration to react, to play defense.

Much of mainland Europe relies on natural gas for energy, which leaves nations as far west and as influential as France and the UK within Russia’s sphere of influence. It’s a yearly saga with Russia having the ability to - and sometimes actually - withholding gas required by Eastern European states to heat their homes in the winter.

One of America’s more interesting geopolitical puzzles is how to run a pipeline from Qatar to Europe.

In an ideal world wind, water, and solar energy would displace all of this, but small swathes of Denmark the world is not. Major infrastructure upgrades would be required in the more gas-dependent states, as well.

I live in Madison -- that "Rastafarian church" is run by a couple of white redneck-y dudes in a filthy, run-down former convenience store, that still has its old "Harry's Market" sign out front. And despite their claims of 20,000 members (which would be about 10% of Madison's non-university population), I doubt you could fit 20 people into it. It is just an illegal dispensary -- and a shitty one at that. Madison is actually fairly tolerant of pot dealers (compared to the rest of the state, at least), but the cops finally shut it down because the "head priest" (again, a redneck-y white dude from Wisconsin, not Jamaica) beat the crap out of an old man with a baseball bat for not making a big enough "donation" for "sacramental" pot he took.

10

Let's not forget that according to the report, crew of the McCain who tried to get in to Trump's speech were denied entry because they had insignia that said "USS McCain." Petty as fuck.

The pettiness of the McCain thing is literally breath-taking...for me anyway. That’s clinical pathology-level pettiness, to day nothing of tin-pot dictator-like behavior. Fuck!
