Stock up, nerds: Proposed tariffs from the Trump administration are threatening to cause an 18.8% price hike on American console sales, reports GeekWire. Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft have teamed up to push back against the tariffs, with the companies co-signing a letter to the Office of the United States Trade Representative claiming the tariffs "would cause significant supply chain disruption."

THERE IS A DEBATE: You know this. It's between ~half of the Democrat contenders running to replace Agent Orange. It starts at 6 p.m. PDT. Here are some places you can watch it in Seattle. Drink every time Jay Inslee pivots to climate change.

Bone up before the debate: How well do you know the Democrats running to take the Oval Office from Trump's lil' baby gremlin hands? Could you tell them apart from, say, a rando stock photo? I bet you can't. The Guardian has this fun quiz, "Can you tell difference between these Democratic hopefuls and random people posing in stock photos?" Take it and see. I got 7/9.

Not a great start for Hickenlooper: And, as you'll remember, he has more name recognition than Inslee.

Shit's going down at Golden Gardens: But hopefully not inside you. There's a sewage overflow at the water at Golden Gardens Park, and city officials are asking people not to swim, wade, or fish in the area until the water is safe to enter. The overflow happened north of the beach. Officials haven't given an estimate on when the water will be appropriately fecal-free.

Guard your purses: There's been an uptick in purse snatchings in Tacoma and Seattle.

Remember that shooting near Seattle Central College on Monday?: It turns out it wasn't a shooting. "Detectives continue to investigate an incident originally reported as a shooting near Seattle Central College Monday evening," writes the SPD on their Blotter. "The victim does not have any injuries consistent with gunfire. At this point in the investigation, detectives have not found evidence of a crime or a shooting." So... why did Harborview report he was injured after a shooting?

US House approves $4.5 billion border funding bill: CBS News is calling it a win for Pelosi, but it will trigger a showdown in the Senate. Trump has also said he will veto the bill even if it somehow manages to pass McConnell's chamber. While the bill passed 230-195, four progressive Democrats, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, did not vote for the bill, saying they wouldn't vote for it as long as it funded ICE.

"Baby Trump" continues to stalk America's biggest baby: The 20-feet tall diaper-wearing "Baby Trump" blimp will make another stop on its international tour, this time flying in front of the White House on July 4. The anti-war group Code Pink has been granted a permit to fly the blimp during the holiday. It's unclear if they will be allowed to fly the little monster on the National Mall.

Gettin ready: ... to take E this Pride.

US Education Secretary says education is not a priority: Secretary Betsy DeVos said in an interview Wednesday that "education clearly has not been at the top of [Trump's] list of priorities," reports Politico. "But he has been very supportive of all the work that weā€™ve done,ā€ DeVos continued. I'm not sure what work she is referring to, but she did spend a good portion of the interview criticizing Bernie Sanders's call to cancel student debt. While she acknowledged the student debt crisis, she put the blame on students, suggesting it was their responsibility to pick a plan that worked for them.

A map for people with earthquake fetishes: Or phobias. Click here to see it big. Stranger's Jasmyne Keimig wanted me to write for this blurb: "Areas prone for liquefaction? THIS PUSSY."

"Instagram Therapists Are the New Instagram Poets": Is a headline in the New York Times. I've spent minutes just frowning at the headline and now need to head out to watch these debates, but let me know what this tomfoolery is about if you're brave enough to click.

Protests are happening in Miami in anticipation of tonight's debates: From people across the political spectrum. There are immigration activists, climate activists, even cops! The Guardian is reporting that only a few Trump supporters have shown up. "If this is the best Trump supporters can do the US president should be worried," they write. "They arenā€™t very numerous and they arenā€™t very imaginative."

Booker's making guns a priority: One bicep at a time.
