Mark Solomon is running in District 2. Don't feel too bad, I had to look it up as well.

The political arm of the Chamber of Commerce are fools. Their endorsements are stupid. They are supporting people who have no fucking chance. I'm no fan of Herbold, but the people running against her are all idiots. Who the fuck is Egan Orion? He (or is she) is likely to come in fourth, if not fifth. Solomon has a chance to make it to the general, I suppose, but Morales is the obvious choice in that race. If the Seattle Times editorial board is following suit with such lunacy, it yet another example of how ridiculous that board is.

the first bicycle tournament in Seattle history takes place in 1988?
Double check that please

Socialist Jaypal will be the next to go. She's the only national elected official taking sides and meddling in local elections. We're coming after you, Crater Face!!

@1

Maybe the Chamber is backing candidates who represent their interests, instead of candidates who don't represent their interests but seem likely to win?

5

@3 How? She's well respected in the district, and she will have a steady stream of coverage of her role in standing up to Trump nationally. I know you RWNJs are delusional, but there is no chance of ever splitting the Democrats in the district enough that your Fascist GOP pick would even have a chance. Sure, you might see an equally progressive Democrat beat her, but even if the Fascist came in second, all us Jayapal would still vote for the Democrat rather than a Fascist in the general.

6

Wow, Greenwood Bob, thanks for calling a fascist a Fascist.
Kudos!

@6

Imaginary, invisible fascists are the sneakiest kind of fascist.

8

@5 is correct. We have a new Baghdad Jim, congressman for life on our hands.

9

@7 The Fascists in America are not imaginary, nor are they invisible. They have conventions, and march in the streets. Hell, they even have their own media and so-called reporters. Heck, you probably see one in the mirror every day, judging by your comments.

@8 No, she won't be in the House for the rest of her life. I suspect she will eventually primary one of our Centrist Senators for life, and win.
