I’m shocked those kids at 23rd and Union who used to sell weed illegally in the bad old days haven’t figured out the regulatory hurdles for going legal and setting up a licensed business, paying all the B&O taxes required as well as federal taxes, along with salaries & minimum wage rules, paid family leave laws, insurance requirements, health insurance laws etc etc.
What gives?
One percent is not enough - how about tying it to the Federal Reserve rate? That fluctuates with the economy and currently is quite low.
