Good to see they are removing the plank from their eyes.

2

It means they hope you'll go away if they pretend to care.

@3,

Right back atcha, champ.

I thin’ it would be fitting to make a Isaiah Washington, the general manager who started this whole mess, homeless. It’s his theory that giving food to hungry people causes homelessness, so let’s have him live outside in a tent by the freeway so he can come back and tell us all about what he has learned about the root causes of homelessness.

Never apologize to SJWs. Ever.

7

The mistake was responding in the first place. You can't appease the tine angry mob.

8

Angry mob of consumers, yes.

9

I’m still waiting to hear that how Vita was “transphobic”. We’re they pretending soy milk was real milk?

10

Good to know Vitas will now have all the charm and odors of a soup kitchen.

@9

Exhibit B. Speck in the eye.

13

Are they interested in hiring back the people they fired for violating their new unwritten policy? With back pay?

The owners seem like reasonable capitol hill libs just like everyone else in the neighborhood and they regret some actions but are nevertheless trying to handle delicate situations with the homeless while trying to maintain a hospitable and attractive environment for their customers.

Rich's bully mob are the ones with their noses out of joint.

This is a chain that gave their employees one day notice when they closed their Olympia location last year. It's good that they're establishing humane formal policies, but I haven't much love left to lose toward them.

Are they going to obey King County’s Health Code, and Seattle’s mandatory composting laws, or are they going to continue leaving stale pastries outdoors in the rat-infested Pike-Pine corridor?

“All commercial establishments that generate food waste or compostable paper shall subscribe to a composting service, process their food waste onsite, or self-haul their food waste for processing.”

— Seattle Municipal Code, Section 21.36.082 - B

Somehow, I rather doubt “leaving it out in the alley for anyone (or any rodent) to eat” satisfies the requirements of this Section.
