What do authors think of macmillan's plan?

@1 Most authors I know are really excited to be in the library because before they were authors they were readers.

Big 5 publishers' ebook policies for libraries include massively overcharging per copy ($50 or more for a book they could buy at retail for $15 or less) and limiting the number of times a library can lend an individual electronic "copy" before buying a replacement. In an effort to prop up their physical book sales (for which authors are often paid even lower royalties than on ebooks), they treat libraries as their enemies and the enemies of their authors. This isn't new. It's been going on for years. I'm glad KCLS is fighting back.

E-books really kill classic libraries. But I think that this is normal, because modern technologies require it. Many students already use only online services for education. For example, at the www.papersowl.com, a professional writer can write papers for me. I believe that this is the best option for the development of the educational system of the United States and the world. This will save billions of dollars.
