Chase typo third sentence "implicated" not "implacated."

@1: LOL OK

I've used all-caps in my handwriting since I was a teenager, and it's DEFINITELY because I'm a mysterious, passionate, sensitive individual who can't bear the idea that the world might learn who I really am. (I am like a moon that way, as Mark Twain once said.) It's totally NOT because I picked up the habit from my father, whose handwriting happens to bear a striking resemblance to mine. It's definitely the mystery-passion thing.

For anyone wondering, the difference between "album of the year" and "record of the year" Grammy is that the "record" is for the mixing; the word is not referencing the format (LP) as I thought it always had.

@3,

I've always thought all-caps just looked a little nicer in general. Like cleaner, but also kinda cool, provided you've halfway decent penmanship (and I'll not weigh in on el prez there. It's not abjectly terrible, I'll concede, but looks somewhat labored over and pretty child-like, probably not helped by the fact it was written in a big thick tipped magic marker.)

As a crossword puzzle aficionado, I'll probably always default to caps out of habit.

@4: Agreed, all the way through.

“Despite more than two decades of climate policymaking, fossil fuel production levels are higher than ever.”

Fossil fuel production on track for double the safe climate limit

That magazine cover is not my thing. As BTS-related art goes, I prefer these Art Nouveau instant coffee ads from last year:

9

@7 I noticed you can get those specialty cold brews at District H + H Marts around town. I don't even like BTS and yet here I am telling strangers on the internet where they can find BTS merch.......

10

@8 terrible logic. On the contrary you should be even more worried if there were only hypocrites and deniers.

Anyway, after years of climate change denial from you, it's just a little too convenient that you find reasons to already give up. Obviously, I would not count on your type to get us moving in the right direction.

Let's face it, Tulsi Gabbard totally lost to Greta Thunberg.

Uh. A lot of us have never heard of Curbed Seattle. Since it seems to be devoted to real estate, who cares if it goes away? There actually is other news in Seattle that's not home prices, rents, and real estate development. Certain members of The Stranger staff seem to be in bed with Seattle's real estate development community. So any mourning at The Stranger for Curbed is understandable. But, nope not a whole lot of tears being shed out here. Maybe The Stranger should pick up their soon to be out of work staff.

Don't let the handwriting distract from the fact that the obscenity is literally reading an account of his own side of a phone call.

Did you hear Trump's delivery of the "I want nothing" talking points? He sounded like a feral cat cornered by a pack of Dobermans.

@12 Curbed is a national real-estate news site with local-branded presences in most major markets. It's a vertical of Vox Media, which also publishes The Verge, Eater and Vox, among others. They're well-funded and have been in expansion mode for years, so it's newsworthy that they're shutting down Curbed Seattle — though, as far as I can tell, it's not part of a larger retrenchment.
