Tim Eyman's initiative remains blocked: The Washington State Supreme Court has weighed in on I-976. The transit-hobbling measure that will get you $30 car tabs but destroy all the infrastructure you hold dear will remain blocked while the lawsuit against the measure takes place, the state's highest court confirmed Wednesday night. Attorney General Bob Ferguson filed a motion against the injunction originally put in place by King County Superior Court. It failed. Without the injunction, the measure would have gone into effect today.

"No one is above the law": It's time for the next step. Nancy Pelosi is moving forward with drafting articles of impeachment. It's all happening. I guess we can safely put impeachment on our holiday wish lists.

The White House press secretary puts in her two cents:

More information about the Aurora Avenue crash: Radalyn King, the 23-year-old woman who is accused of killing two people with her car and injuring two others in Friday's crash, was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of vehicular assault, felony hit-and-run, and reckless driving. King was driving while likely high on meth, police confirmed via charging papers, and crashed into a family that was visiting Seattle. A man, 26, and his sister, 28, were killed. Their father, 63, was seriously injured and remains in "guarded" condition.

Three of Ethan Stowell's restaurants are closing: I thought I might recognize these places. I don't. So I'm not sure if this is a big loss, but Stowell's underperforming restaurants that he's closing are Bramling Cross, Super Bueno, and Marine Hardware. Other chefs around the region are noticing a shift in the restaurant industry. One even said that "there's a reckoning coming."

Where has the rain gone? We'll get some drizzles today, but showers won't return until Friday and Saturday. California has been getting all the moisture!

Amazon is still upset about not getting that Department of Defense contract: The $10 billion cloud contract was awarded to Microsoft. Amazon Web Services CEO Andy Jassy said that "significant political interference" from Donald Trump dictated that outcome.

TikTok is fatphobic: And ableist and queerphobic, according to a new Slate report. The social network video app that's very hip with the youth admitted to suppressing content that was made by users that TikTok determined to be “vulnerable to cyberbullying.” This list included "people with facial disfigurement, autism, Down syndrome, and “disabled people or people with some facial problems such as birthmark, slight squint and etc.” Fat people's and queer people's content were also flagged. Moderators had to watch videos and determine if people would "want to bully" whoever was featured in the video.

T.I. effects change: The rapper drew the ire of pretty much everyone after making comments on a podcast about how he took his teenage daughter to annual virginity exams at a gynecologist to make sure her hymen was still intact. After the uproar, New York lawmakers are considering banning the practice of female virginity tests. Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages submitted a bill last month that would make the practice illegal.

The live action Mulan movie is coming: This one seems like it will be the best of Disney's weird live-action remakes of their perfectly fine animated films. There won't be any singing, I'm told. Also, I don't know where we stand on separating art from artist, but it's good to remember that the actor who plays Mulan, Liu Yifei, came out in support of the Hong Kong police back in August. Is your idea of Mulan a stooge?

Woman on her way to rape case hearing set on fire: The 23-year-old was on her way to court in Northern India to the trial against the two men she said raped her. She filed the case in March. On her way to court, she was set on fire. She is currently in critical condition. Five men, which include her alleged rapists, have been arrested on suspicion of lighting her on fire.

San Diego heroin users get flesh-eating bacteria: Seven people have died after contracting flesh-eating bacteria from black tar heroin use.

Save the Amazon: More than 3,700 square miles of the Amazon have been razed just this year. That's because of President Jair Bolsonaro, who has been in power for only a year. Bolsonaro is attempting to "open the rainforest up to industry and scale back it's protections," the New York Times reports. Bolsonaro believes that environmental policy in Brazil is "suffocating the country."

Only in Florida: A couple went shopping for a baby shower gift at Goodwill. They found a baby bouncer that cost only $10. A steal! Except, when the recipients at the shower opened the gift, there wasn't a baby bouncer inside. There was a Mossberg 715T semiautomatic rifle.

Two reading recs for you: I wanted to blurb this story, but it's too long. I got sucked in reading it for 10 minutes and had to stop so I could get the rest of the news to you. But it's about this guy who is a prolific jail snitch. Then there's this other story I want to read about someone who worked for Alex Jones at Infowars and regrets it.

Chipotle has an on-call nurse: To make sure that employees who call in sick are really sick and not just hungover.
