mmm I do think the federal law will trump local law here.

individual states cannot regulate interstate commerce so sure Washington can harm it's own interests by continuing to ban flavored vapes. They can still be shipped in from out of state legally.

Sure they will try and still find a way to block this and the Democrats will only loose in 2020 because of this issue. You can't blame the republicans for Jay Inslee's behavior.

I don't think "Democrats will lose because of vape bans" is a very good take. But it is still a horrible idea. We're banning a very successful smoking cessation product in the flavors that adults vastly prefer.

They don't want vaping to taste like a cigarette. Cigarettes are killing them.

In places that have banned fruit and candy flavors, the popularity or mint and menthol flavors among teens suddenly and inexplicably skyrockets. This is just a dumb response.

Worse bans (on anything) need to be enforced. And that enforcement [A] costs money and [B] happens disproportionately in minority communities. Do we have to go over this? The first step in more equitable policing is DON'T BE A POLICE STATE!
