Durkan actually said that she might make an announcement in January regarding her plans regarding re-election.

Businesses used to supply fully 1/3 of the Taxes collected in the US. Now, post-the Ronny Raygun/Lewis Powell Revolution, they got it down to circa 17%, and dropping...

All that Extra Cash allows them to purchase OUR (well, not any more!) Lawmakers, pretty much at will.

It’s been pointed out that there was a lack of outrage over Bezos’ large contribution in support of gay marriage. I don’t hear much of a commotion, except from the losing side, over the large donations made in support of I1639. Kind of maybe a my billionaire is OK but yours is not thing, eh? Hypocrisy is eternal.

Also pointed out, somewhere. the Sackler Crime Fambly* (NO relation to the trumpfy KKKrime Fambly) donated hundreds of Millions to museums, etc -- all to Whitewash their "good" name.

Just 'cause they know how to spread the Pain, doesn't mean they're Correct.

You (dude!) are correct: Not likely.

But I CAN already hear the NeoLibs and Cons from here if such a Gawd-Awful Calamity were to transpire.

Oh the Humanity, indeedy.

Well, there is an almost usual lack of coherence in the comments section, but I suppose that is to be expected from an article that basically says "actually, a person can change their mind" (but not without being called a hypocrite).
